Former Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has explained that, the conduct of the 2023 gubernatorial election was both peaceful and crime free.

The former Governor who is the Senator Elect for Zamfara West senatorial district explained that, the arrangements made by INEC were both impressive and orderly.

He also noted that the turn out of the voters, especially in Talatar Mafara his country home, was very impressive when compared with the previous elections conducted.

He called on candidates to develop the spirit of accepting failure or victory, hence election between parties is usually conducted to determine who wins or loses the election.
