The former Governor elect for Zamfara State Mukhtar Shehu Idris Gusau has delivered his poling unit in Tudun Wada Gusau during the 2023 Governorship polls.
According to the result sheet from his poling unit, his party, the APC scored a total of (113) votes while PDP scored a total of (68) votes.
As for the Gusau (1) State house of assembly, APC scored a total of (111) to defeat the PDP which scored (74) votes.
It could be recalled that, Mukhtar Shehu Idris who was elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress but had his election nullified by the Supreme Court, urged all his supporters, and we’ll wishers to massively come out and vote for the APC.
He organized a special interface between thousands of his supporters, and Governor Bello Matawalle where a message of unity and solidarity was transmitted.
