Communities of Rawaya town in Bungudu local government area fingered the Council  Chairman Alhaji  Abdulazeez Ahmad Nahuche and five others over alleged stealing of hospital equipment worth millions of naira.
A petition signed by one Yunusa Bawa Rawayya,, said the equipment installed at ALGON Comprehensive Health Care  Center located at Rawayya town were allegedly removed on the order of the Council Chairman.
The petitioner alleged that, the council chairman in connivance with some influential people in the town illegally removed the items.
The petitioner alleged that, the equipments were supplied and handed down to the health facilities but surprisingly removed without notice.
According to the petitioner, Director for health in the local government, Rabiu Muhammad, Councillor for health Nasiru Ja’afar Rawayya, District Head of Rawayya Rashi Muhammad Kabir Abubakar 11, Alhaji Abubakar Tsoho Dankwage (Iyan Rawayya) and Principal GDSS Rawayya Malam Bashar Yahaya jointly connived in the removal of the items.
The petitioner who copied  EFCC, ICPC, State Commissioner of Police, State Director of SSS, NSCDC, Speaker and members of the State House of Assembly, requested for thorough investigation of the petition.
When contacted Council Chairman Abdul’azeez Nahuche faulted the petition and described it as baseless and unfounded.
All I know about the Centre at Rawayya town, was the report that wind blown off the roofing of the Centre, and I instructed my director health to liaise with the Rawayya community, security agencies to take inventory of the equipments and relocate them somewhere,he added.
The Council Chairman however threatened to challenge the petitioner in court in order to clear his name and also demand for damages.
