In what appeared to be a serious setback for the bandit terrorists operating along Maradun and Mafara, twenty-five of them were killed when they paid a murderous attack against people of Matusgi Community in Talatar Mafara.
According to a source, the bandits invaded the town around 5:00pm on Wednesday and started shooting sporadically, a circumstance that resulted in the killing of three innocent civilians
Worried by the excessiveness of the bandits, community protection guards with the organized vigilante and operative of the Nigerian military mobilized and confronted the bandits while on their exit route to their usual hideout.
‘I can confirm to you that another set of ten bandits were killed along Magamin Diddi while the local vigilante and military were pursuing them on their route to Maradun camp”.
Those bandits killed were members of Kachalla Jimoh Smalley who has been known as a deadly terrorized bandit leader who has been making life unbearable for the residents along Maradun Mafara and Bakura axis of Zamfara State.
