Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Zamfara State Chapter Dr. Mannir Bature Chafe said 80% of death recorded at the existing health facilities in Zamfara State is caused by delibrate recruitment of incompetent health personals by the government.
Dr. Mannir further said, only 16% of health practitioners deployed by the government to work at various Primary Health Care Centers are trained and qualified to work as health personals.

He said untill Zamfara State government has become in touch with the reality of the crises in the health sector and do the needful, the situation will surely go out of hand.
Dr. Mannir Bature who dropped the revelation during an interactive session on sustaining 
the Anti Corruption and promotion of Accountability organized by Arewa llll and Development Project said the crises that surrounded the state health sector called for restrategization and total overhauling before the system crashed.
He noted that unless Islamic Scholars and other elder statesmen are willing to tell the government the truth, time will come when the angry youth will take over the reform and the situation will be disastrous.
