The senator representing Zamfara West Lawal Hassan Anka has warned the former Senate President Bukola Saraki to stay away from Zamfara politics.
The Senator who stated in a statement issued to newsmen on Monday said Sen. Bukola Sarki is ignorant of the happening within Zamfara politics.
He said the removal of Mahadi Aliyu Gusau the immediate past Deputy Governor is done to punish him over gross abuse of office.
Sen. Lawal warned Saraki to take note of the fact that Zamfara is not Kwara and therefore should not be feeding Nigerians with false information.
He insisted that due process has been dully followed in the impeachment of the former Deputy Governor Mahadi Aliyu Gusau.
Sen. Lawal who accused Bukola Saraki of destroying the political dynasty of Saraki challenged him to explain such aspect of due process that was not followed in the impeachment of Barr. Mahadi Aliyu Gusau.
He insisted that the charges instituted against Mahadi Aliyu Gusau were established beyound reasonable doubt, and the committee set up by the State Chief Judge was also in accordance with the constitutional provisions, like wise the report had clearly found him guilty of the charges instituted against him.
“Mr. Bukola is absolutely wrong and Zamfara will not accept anyone within and outside, making any attempt to bring us on collision course when we have already moved on positive”.
Sen. Lawal Hassan alleged that because PDP was pained by defection of the Governor Matawalle to APC and took him to court but eventually loses as the freedom of association was confirmed as one of the right of the Governor.
He said Bukola as a Presidential aspirant should not take advantage of the privilege to cause confusion and breakdown of law and order in the state.
