President Muhammad Buhari has issued a six month ultimatum to new service chiefs to improve the security situation in the country.
The President also said his administration will act harder on those using arms to be killing innocent people of Nigeria.
He emphasize on the recent directive he issued to the Nigerian security agencies that anyone arrested with surphisticated weapon like AK47 shall be shot to dead.
The President expressed surprise that, despite the fact that his administration just ordered for the opening of land borders gunmen are still smuggling weapons in to the country.
He further said, it would not be unacceptable for this year’s rainy season to come while farmers could not go to the farms for their farming activities.
Muhammadu Buhari therefore asked the new service chiefs to do the needful and effect changes in earnest.
