The Spokesman of the APC for the North West , Musa Mailafiya Mada , has warned Zamfara Former Commissioner for Health Aliyu Abubakar Tsafe, who is one of the stakeholders of the party, to desist from making divisive comments that are capable of causing friction and disunity within the party.
Mailafiya, who spoke against the recent comments made by the former commissioner during an APC stakeholders meeting he convened at Tsafe, warned that if the former commissioner had any grievances he wanted to express, he should have done that through an appropriate means, not in a manner that will cause disunity or crises within the party.
He noted that as Zonal leaders of the party, their role is to wade into the party crises at the state level and ensure that stability and unity within state chapters have been restored.
He noted that comments similar to that of the commissioner would not be welcomed by the APC, especially looking at the unique circumstances that surrounded the party since 2019 and also the efforts being put in place to ensure that the party has gotten back to its stronger base.
He called on the APC leader in Zamfara, Sen. Abdul Aziz Yari, on whose support the former Commissioner is alleged to have been making such remarks, to talk sense to people like Aliyu Abubakar Tsafe in the interest of ensuring peace and unity of the APC.
