The candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have won the elections in all 23 local governments and 255 wards, according to the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM). The victory solidifies the APC’s stronghold in Kaduna State and highlights the party’s popularity among voters. The results also demonstrate a significant challenge for opposition parties in the region.
Hajara Mohammed, the chairman of KADSIECOM, made this statement on Saturday in Kaduna.
The returning officers and election officers have filed their reports,” Ms. Mohammed stated. “At the conclusion of the exercise, 23 people were elected to council positions and 255 to chairmanship positions, respectively.
Along with the election officers, the 23 returning officers and the ward returning officers have announced and turned in their separate results in compliance with the law.
By virtue of the commission’s authority, I now affirm the previously compiled and returned results by the returning officers, which are as follows:.
Across the state, the APC secured 255 ward councillorships and 23 chairmanships.
