The Spokesperson of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Sanusi Bature has stated that, the returns of the dethroned Emir Aminu Ado Bayero to Kano two days after his removal constitute a serious security threat to the people of the State.
Sanusi Bature who stated this while trying to justify reasons for the removal of Aminu Ado Bayero insisted that, it was the attitude of the former Emir that prompted the Governor to take action to maintain public order and stability in the state.
Bature emphasized that Governor Yusuf’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and well-being of the people of Kano State, and he could not ignore the potential risks associated with Bayero’s return to the palace.

Bature defended the Governor’s decision to demolish buildings and structures illegally acquired by former Governor Ganduje and his associates, explaining that it was a necessary step to recover public property and prevent the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few individuals.
He emphasized that the Governor’s actions are guided by the wishes of the people of Kano State and a commitment to upholding the law and ensuring justice and fairness for all.
