Zamfara State Chapter of the people Democratic Party has condoled with the immediate families of late Kamilu Wuya a councilorship candidate who was shot by the suspected armed bandits on Saturday.
The deceased, an indigent of Wuya community in Anka local government area of Zamfara state, was ambushed and fired gunshots by some suspected bandits while returning from Gusau the state capital, where he went to pick nomination form for the post of councilor in the forthcoming local government poll.
He sustained severe injuries that resulted in his eventual death on Sunday.
People’s Democratic Party through its spokesperson Mal. Haliru Andi condoles with the families of the deceased, the party at Anka local government and indeed Anka Emirates council over the demise of the young promising gentleman.
