A legal practitioner and former Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association Bello Idris Galadi has advised federal and state governments to take further step of shooting at the bandits and kidnappers in the open market.
Galadi who gave the suggestion when he featured on Thunder Blowers TV show “Da-wache-Kazo said, if such a step is taken it will serve as a bitter lesson for others who may have the intention of joining the act in the future.
He also attributed the inability of the Nigerian security agencies to manage the insecurity bedeviling the North to lack of adequate training and use of obsolete weapons that are used in confronting the bandits.
Galadi further said, the number of the security operatives is inadequate especially when one considers the demand for their services at this very crucial time.
He called on the federal government and states to enact separate laws that would be used in punishing kidnappers and bandits within a specific time frame.
