The Publicity Secretary of All Progressive Congress in Zamfara Shehu Isah Barden GUSAU has denied the rumor making round the public that he has perfected plans to defect to the ruling PDP in Zamfara State.
Shehu Isah who spoke with the managing editor of thunder blowers multimedia services said, in his orientation and lifestyle he does not play politics of betrayal and no matter the circumstances he will never betray or abandoned the former Governor Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar.
“Last year they have spread same rumor that I am defecting to the PDP by one Tuesday this year also they are spreading another rumor that I will defect to PDP by Tuesday why are they fixing Tuesdays for me?” Barden Gusau asked?.
“I have never spoken with Governor Bello Matawalle since when he was inaugurated as Governor because I have already aligned myself with Abdulazeez Yari and left to me no matter the circumstances I will remain with Yari”.
“It’s Allah who make someone rich at a particular pointing time and by Islamic ethics one need not be in a hurry before he gets rich. Defecting to PDP, cannot make one rich overnight, but the most important thing in life is for one to be focus and respect dignity of relationship”.
On those defecting to the PDP, Barde said it was a true sign of political betrayal, noting that if that is what they chose he wished them well.
When asked regarding the Governor’s plan defection to the APC Barden Gusau said to them as a party, it is still a rumour which they would not take serious unless if the Governor perfect it.
He called on the APC supporters to remain calm and continue to work in the interest of the promoting the party ideology
