Some suspected armed bandits have blocked Zamfara-Funtua road exactly in between Yanakara and Sheme in Faskaro local government area of Katsina state.
Hundreds of vehicles including trucks and petroleum tankers have been trapped along Yankara at Sheme filing station.
As at the time of filing this report sound of gunshots is ringing on the air while motorists are being cautioned to move back to safer locations.
