Operative of the Department of the State Security Services had arrested the President of Nigeria Labour Congress Comr. Joe Ajaero.
Vanguard newspaper Ajaero was about to board a flight to the United Kingdom UK when the operatives picked him.
It reported that he was handed over to the National Intelligence Agency.
They stated that details of the reasons for his arrest were still sketchy.
Ajaero was billed to attend the Conference of Trade Union Congress TUC in the United Kingdom holding today.
