A former APC gubernatorial aspirant in Zamfara Dauda Lawan Dare has asked Governor Bello Matawalle to meet with former Governor Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar and other APC Stakeholders in Zamfara state as conditions for joining the APC.
Dauda who made the statement in an extended interview with Managing Editor of Thunder Blowers said in as per as he has no issue with anybody joining APC the leadership of the party in the state which is headed by Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar has to be recognized and respected.
“We have all agreed with the leadership of Yari, and he has to provide a sense of direction for all of us including anybody coming and the constitution of the party is very clear if the Governor want to join he is free to join, but he has to follow the due process and respect the leadership of the party which is headed by Yari”.
Dauda Lawan added that, APC remains the party to hold in Zamfara state and that the past mistake of the 2019 has become an experience to all the APC supporters in Zamfara and that, with Abdulazeez Yari at the helm of affairs APC will have a peaceful headway in 2023 and all internal issues in the party would be resolved amicably.
