A fire incident has occurred at Tudun Wada market in Gusau the Zamfara State capital resulting in the loss of many shops and valuable business facilities.
According to an eyewitness, the incident occurred in the night on Saturday while many people were at sleep and the source of the fire incident is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
He told this medium that, it took the intervention of firefighters who arrived in the venue of the incident in convoy of many firefighting trucks before they were able to put the situation under control.
The victims are still assessing and counting their losses while people are trooping to condole with them over the tragedy which befalls them.
It could be recall that close to ten months back, part of same Tudun Wada market got razed by fire and properties worth millions of naira were lost.
Normalcy has since been restored as business activities continues in some part of the market not affected by the inferno.
