Some suspected armed bandits laid ambush and attacked some staffers of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda.
The attack took place around Wanzamai village after Tsafe while on their way to Kano for a workshop.
Among those attacked included Comrade Surajo Muhammed Funtua Deputy Director Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship and a former ASUP Chairman.
Others include Malama Hauwa Comrade Ifanyi, Assistant General Secretary ASUP and others from the Food Technology Department.
Multiple gunshots were fired on their eighteen – seater bus while some sustained various degree of injuries.
No casualty has been recorded from the incident
