The former Deputy Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers Come. maude NUT, alongside hundreds of other PDP supporters had formally defected to the APC.
They made the declaration today when they were received by one of the political allies of the Governor, Abubakar Jafar Maradun at his residence in Damba housing estate Gusau on Tuesday.
He said he has decided to join the APC through Mr. Jafar considering his humanitarian contributions and his dedication to Matawalle second term project.
He added that, they have demonstrated their political capacity in the just concluded Presidential election by making sure that APC was defeated in most of Bungudu East and assured that this time around they would hit a sound political blow on the PDP.
In a response, Mr. Abubakar Jafar Maradun welcomed them on board and assured them of the commitment of Governor Bello Matawalle in ensuring that they are accommodated in the party.
Among the political bigwigs that perfected the defection include Alh Mande Sankalawa one of the political allies to Alh Sanda Danjari Kwatarkwashi a former Commissioner in Zamfara State.
