Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi has assured that with the work in progress at Gusau International Cargo Airport, planes may likely be landing front now to December 2025.
Wambai who stated this in a media chart stated that initially he was part of those that criticizes the revocation of Gusau cargo airport which was awarded by the previous administration of Matawalle but said after his recent visit to the airport and with what he saw he was optimistic that the job will soon be completed.
He said this does not stop the fact the effort by the previous administrations in pushing the airport project, but credit must be given to Governor Dauda for making it a reality.
He also commended him for buying up the University started by former Governor Bafarawa which he said is being upgraded to accommodate parts of the proposed teaching hospital
He also commended the Governor for making it a duty to complete the Shinkafi referral hospital, noting that such were the development that are anticipated long overdue.
