As part of his resolve to enhance the development of business activities in the state, Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle has handed over allocation of shops to over (1,000) businessmen in Zamfara state.
At a ceremony held at Taula Academy in Gusau, the Governor who was represented by his Commissioner of Commerce Yazid Shehu Danfulani said the initiative was developed to encourage expansion of business activities in the state.
He noted that his administration has always accorded priority to the development of business activities, noting that, the gesture will surely be sustained throughout the life span of the government.
The Commissioner called on the beneficiaries to utilize the gesture and develop the facilities according to the approved building plans.
He emphasized the need for the business community in Zamfara to continue to work for the success of the administration of the Governor Matawalle noting that Matawalle has developed a good will which is aimed at enhancing business activities in the state.
The Special Adviser to Zamfara State Governor on Urban and Regional Planning Board Comr. Anas Abdullahi Kaura urged the people of Zamfara to remain grateful to the Governor for his tireless efforts in boosting business activities and moving the state forward.
He lauded the effort of the Commissioner for Commerce Yazid Shehu Danfulani for his giant effort in making sure that the land allocation to the beneficiaries has become a reality.
His counterpart on Market Development Alh Sulaiman Zumunchi also called on the people of Zamfara especially the beneficiaries to continue to pray for the success of Matawalle administration.
He also called on the beneficiaries to ensure that the allocation issued are utilized as approved so that business activities can be promoted.
Idris Muhammad Keta Special Adviser Land and Survey also reminded the business communities on the need to revive the lost glory of the business activities in Gusau just the way it was done in Gombe one of the state created alongside Zamfara State.
