GOV. MATAWALE REINSTATES SPECIAL ADVISERS, DIRECTORS GENERAL AS FEW OTHER FORMER AIDS FAILS TO MAKE UP THE NEW LIST

Governor Bello Matawalle has announced the reinstatement of some Special Advisers and Directors General who were earlier suspended via circular from the office of the Secretary to the state government Hon. Bala Bello Maru.

However, Not all the Special Advisers and Director Generals suspended earlier by the Governor made up the new list as some were not categorically told their fate by the new circular released on Friday.

Former Special Adviser Public Enlightenment Media and Communication Malam Zailani Bappa, former Special Adviser Strategy Garzali Shehu Ahmed, former Director General New Media Bello Zauma, former Director General Directorate of Humanitarian Affairs Asmau Moriki, former Director General Gusau Central market Sulaiman Zumunchi and some others were not part of the new list.

According to the new list Hon. Yusuf Abubakar Zugu has retained his seat as special Adviser Chieftaincy Affairs, Muzakkiru Sidi Bawa, Zamfara Comprehensive Agricultural Revolution Program (ZACAREP), Abdulrahaman Bala Shinkafi, deployed to Directorate of Sports, Bashir Muhammad Wali, Zamfara Environmental Sanitation Agency (ZESA) and Bello Muhammad Galadima Labour Matters.

Others are Umaru Giggi Maradun deployed to Directorate of Rural Urban Electricfication, Abubakar Abdullahi Maradun deployed RUGA, Hashimu Muh’d Modomawa Land and survey and Abdullahi Ibrahim Ma’aji Gusau who was retained as Special Adviser Political Affairs to the Governor.

The list included Comrade Lukman Bisallah Majidadi who was retained at the Directorate of Scholarship, Fatima Musa Muh’d also retained as Special Adviser Office of the first lady while Dr Rabi Ibrahim was also retained as Special Adviser Directorate of Investment.

Aminu Abdullahi Alkali was also retained as Special Adviser SDG, Aliyu Madawaki Adabka retained as Special Adviser on Assembly Matters and Surajo Habibu Abdullahi Special Adviser Liaison Services.

The Governor also retained Abdullahi Muh’d Mai Turare as Special Adviser Directorate of Accelerated Cotton Development, Barrister Junaidu Aminu retained as Special Adviser Judicial and legal Matters, Alh Ahmed Muktar Muhd Housing and Urban Development and Hon Rufai Chiroma Rural water supply

As for the posts of Directors General, Hon. Jamilu Haruna Kalale was retained as DG Sports, Lawali Hussaini Director General Office of the Executive Governor (OEG), Yusuf Idris Gusau DG Public Enlighment Media and Communication and Aliyu Sani BK retained as DG Protocol Government House from Deputy Governors office.

Hon. Abdullahi Lawal Ahmed deployed as DG Protocol Deputy Governor’s office, Babangida Umar Zurmi DG Press Affairs office of the Deputy Governor while Sanusi Ahmed lilo was retained as DG but to Directorate of Investment from Zamfara Urban and Regional Planning Board (ZUREPB).

The list also announced the retention of Inuwa Jabbi Maradun as DG Quarter System, Usman Marafa Nahuce DG Land and survey, Hassan Idris retained as DG Zamfara Geographic Information System (ZAGIS), Murtala Ishaq Jangebe DG Government House Maintenance, Hon Tukur Muhd Magami DG Tractor Hiring while Idris Garba Rikiji was redeployed to Zamfara Urban and Regional Planning Board (ZUREPB).

Hon. Hussaini Aliyu Mafara was appointed as DG Awaiting for posting, Aminat Ahmed Gusau DG RUGA, Hon. Nasiru Bawa Hayin Alhaji DG Protocol SSG office, Zainab Nuhu retained as DG Protocol office of first lady and MustaphaJjafaru Kaura DG Press Affairs State House of Assembly.

The list also has Shehu Ahmed DG Protocol House of Assembly, Mikailu Aliyu DG Political Affairs, Abdullahi Isa Bayaro DG Strategy and Dev, Shehu Muhd Anka Director General Zamfara Environmental Sanitation Agency (ZESA) and Hon. Surajo Haske DG Solid Minerals Development.

No information was however issued regarding the status of those suspended Special Advisers and Directors General that do not make up the list.
