GOV. MATAWALLE SET UP COMMITTEE TO ASSESS GOVERNMENT VEHICLES AND PLANTS DOMICILE IN STATE MDA’s

Governor Bello Matawalle has inaugurated a committee on the assessment of government vehicles and plants across all the MDA’s in the state.

The objective of the committee according to Malam Yusuf Idris the spokesperson of Governor Bello Matawalle is to help government in identifying serviceable and non-serviceable vehicles and plants owned by the government and also help maintained up to date records

Idris further said the exercise to be conducted by the committee will help the government take appropriate decision on vehicle purchases, maintenance, and auction.

The committee has Alhaji Ibrahim Jibo Magayaki, state commissioner Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as chairman, while members of the committee included Alhaji Aliyu Tukur ES, state commissioner Ministry of Education, Alhaji Mohammed Sadiq Maiturare Bungudu, state commissioner ministry for Water Resources and Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed Gurbin Bore, state commissioner Ministry of Higher Education.

Alhaji Aliyu Bello Maradun, Permanent Secretary, General Services was appointed as committee secretary while Mohammed Abdullahi Shinkafi- will serve as Assistant secretary.

During their inauguration Governor Bello Matawalle reminded them that they were carefully selected to carry out the task in recognition of their integrity, commitment, and hard work and therefore charged them to demonstrate these sterling qualities in the course of conducting their assignment.
