Some suspected gunmen armed with deadly weapons had kidnapped the District Head of Kasuwar Daji in Kaura Namoda local government area of Zamfara state Alh Ibrahim S/Fada Kasuwar Daji.
A source confided in this medium that the district head was picked by his abductors at around 3:00am of Thursday (today) inside his residential royal house located at the center of the town and was moved to an unknown destination.
It could be recalled that a month back, same group of suspected gunmen invaded the town and kidnapped a very renown businessman in the town and released him after his relations paid the sum of five million naira as ransom.
Residents said, the majority of those that were awake as at 3:30am have heard the multiple sounds of gunshots before it was later revealed that it was the district head that was kidnapped.
As at the time of filing this report, Zamfara police command could not be reached for comment on the matter.
