The Governorship candidate of Young Progressive Party in Zamfara Alh Sani Anka has debunked the rumor making round the public that he has stepped down for the PDP gubernatorial candidate Dauda Lawal Dare.
Sani Anka who stated this on Saturday via a press statement, insisted that the pronouncement by Faruk Shatiman Rijiya that he stepped down his governorship race for Dauda was not true and distances himself from it in totality.
He stated that he is still in the race and that his party will pursue the governorship race to the logical conclusion.
He threatened to drag both the PDP and Faruk Shatiman Rijiya to court over spread of fake news, adding that there was never a time when such a move to surrender the YPP Governorship race was discussed with both the PDP or any other party.
He called on Shatiman Rijiya to offer public apology to him and the party, or else risk the chances of facing litigation.
He also called on his supporters to warm up and continue with the YPP Governorship project until Saturday the 18th of March 2023.
