The factional Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC in Zamfara Lawal M. Liman has expressed surprise at why the APC National Headquarters is in interested in betraying the effort put in place by the Yari leadership of the party in making the APC more popular in the state.
Liman, who raised the surprise when he, addresses a press conference at the factional headquarters of the APC in Gusau on Monday said the extent at which the leadership of the APC headquarters is trying to cause confusion in Zamfara is astounding noting that despite the challenges, Yari and indeed all other leaders of the movement would remain firmed in moving the party forward.
He used the opportunity to call on the party supporters to remain law-abiding and respect the constituted authorities and allow the party leaders to sought things out with the faction of the Governor.
He also assured that, they would continue to work according to the law and respect the existing court order which asked all parties in the suit filed at the federal high court Gusau to stay action pending determination of the substantive suite filed by some aggrieved members of the party.
