His Excellency, the Zamfara State Executive Governor Bello Matawalle has hosted orphans for a special breakfast he organized for them on Tuesday.
In a statement by Governor’s Spokes Person Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau said the breakfast was held at one of the halls in Government House Gusau.
Idris said, the Governor has assured that the orphans would continue to supported to make life comfortable for them.
He assured that, as people who are destined to be orphans they deserve to be treated with all sense of humanity noting that only God shall decide their fate.
He specifically explained that, government would continue to sponsor their education as well as their social wellbeing to make them equal with the rest of people in the community.
He urged the well to individuals to continue to assist orphans and less privileged persons in the state.
Matawalle also urged the orphans to pray hard for the return of peace in the state and the country at large.
The event was attended by two former Deputy Governors, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad and Muktar Ahmad Anka, Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Bala Bello Maru, Head of Service, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe, Deputy Chief of Staff Government House, Dr. Bashir Mohammed Maru, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries and Directors-General.
