The Zamfara state Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Jamilu Jibo Magayaki has asked Sen. Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar to redirect his energy toward advising Minister Bello Matawalle to open himself to being accountable for his actions.
Jamilu Mangayaki in a statement he personally signed and copy made available to this medium also said Instead of deflecting responsibility yari should have advocated for investigation into potential complicity regarding the insecurity issues in Zamfara state.
He insisted that Sen. Yari’s call for exoneration of minister Bello Matawalle raises important questions about accountability issue regarding Matawalle’s stewardship.
He insisted that Governor Dauda Lawal is not engaging in a blame game, rather trying to set the record straight for the sake of prosperity, accountability, and transparency.
He also said, Governor Dauda remains focus on developing Zamfara state and addressing pressing security issues an effort, according to him which shall not be undermined especially by the immediate past administration.
He insisted that the approach adopted by the current administration of Dauda in restoring peace in Zamfara remains the best.
He assured that Governor Dauda lawal has stepped into the administration of Zamfara to tackle insecurity, restore peace and therefore calls for collective efforts to achieve the said objective.
