KANO GOVERNMENT SACKS 44 LG CARETAKER CHAIRMEN

Governor Abba Yusuf has dismissed the caretaker chairpersons of all 44 local government areas, following a two-month extension approved by the state House of Assembly. The extension aims to ensure continuity in local governance. The governor has directed the chairpersons to hand over their positions to their respective directors of personnel management. The dissolution applies to all chairmen, vice-chairmen, secretaries, and councillors. Yusuf thanked the chairmen for their contributions and hinted at potential future collaboration.
