KATSINA GOVT DONATES N100M TO VICTIMS OF FLOOD IN BORNO

Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda has presented a ₦100 million cheque to support recovery efforts in Borno State following the recent devastating floods that ravaged the state

Governor Radda visited Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, to offer condolences to the government and people of Borno State over the tragedy that befalls them.

He used the opportunity of the visit to hand over the donation on behalf of the people and government of Katsina state to Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum.

He stated that the funds were meant to assist those affected by the disaster in order for them to have some elements of relief.

Governor Radda expressed deep concern over the scale of the disaster and prayed that God almighty provides comfort to them.

In a response Governor of Borno state Babagana Umara Zulum, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Governor Dikko Radda and the people of Katsina for their generousity.

The governor expressed deep concern over the severity of the disaster and prayed for comfort.

“This act of kindness in our time of need exemplifies the unity and brotherhood that exists among Nigerians. Your support will significantly aid our recovery efforts and bring relief to those affected by the floods,” Zulum remarked.

Prominent individuals followed Radda, including the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Tsauri, the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Daura, and the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Umar.
