Kidnappers have continued to hold one Alh. Hadi of gidan Janbula community of Bungudu local government to ransom after collecting N13 million naira from his relations.
A Civil Society Advocate Bachiri Sarkin Fulani who declared this during a Thunder Blowers TV show Dawache Kazo explained that the bandits insisted that they would not release the abductee until when his relations can pay the balance of N17, a million.
“The man has been in abduction for close to six months, the bandits demanded for N30 million naira ransom, his families have raised N13 million naira and handed down to the bandits but yet, he has not been released”.
Describing how devastating the condition was, Bachiri said, some locals may likely be involved in the abduction issue since many times when the relations of the man abducted wanted to sales any property the kidnappers call to narrate to them what transpired.
He emphasized the need for the government to take the issue of intelligence very seriously and also give much emphasis to effective community engagement with a view to getting rid of crimes before they are perfected.
