Former Governor of Zamfara Sen. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has organized a special prayer session to mark 64 year anniversary of the birth of Nigeria as a sovereign nation.
The prayer session which took place at his country home of Talatar Mafara was well attended by dozens of Islamic clerics.
Chief Imam of Gusau Jumuat Central Mosque Liman Dan Alhaji Sambo led the special prayer session.
Sen. Yari in a remark emphasized the need for the leaders and clerics across all levels to continue to pray for the success of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
Yari also called on the Islamic clerics to also continue to pray for Nigeria’s peace and progress at all time.
It could be recall that on Monday Senator Yari met with other groups of politicians to discuss party matters where he urged same people to continue to pray for the success of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
