Zamfara State Police Command has announced the arrest of one Lawali Ibrahim Chediya an alleged notorious bandit who had been operating along Buyabiki area of Tsafe local government in Zamfara State
Zamfara State Police Commissioner Mr. Abutu Yaro who stated this during a Press Conference in Gusau said, a team of Police attached to Operation Puff Adder 11 in Tsafe local government received an intelligence report that a strange person suspected to be bandit was seen at the outskirts of Biyabiki village.
Mr. Abutu often said strong mobilization by the Police operative in collaboration with members of the organized vigilante successfully get the suspect arrested.
In a related development, the police command also announced the arrest of an armed robber by the name Murtala Yusuf a native of Funtua local government area of Zamfara State.
The CP said a Boxer motorcycle was recovered during the arrest of the suspect
He explained further that investigation in to the cases has since commenced and the suspects would be arraigned in court.
