Former Governor of Zamfara Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has extended his APC political tour of the (14) local governments to Bukkuyum.
He arrived Bukkuyum in the noon where he had opportunity of interacting with critical stakeholders on the need to intensify the campaign for the APC ahead of the Governorship and state assembly polls scheduled for Saturday the 11th of March 2023.
Yari who expressed gratitude to the people of Bukkuyum for their massive support to the APC during the last Presidential and Governorship elections, urged them to redouble the effort and provide multiple number of the votes cast for the APC.
He explained that, Bukkuyum local government has been one of the strongholds of the ANPP/APC since 1999 expressed the need to sustain that momentum by massively voting for Governor Bello Matawalle and all the APC state assembly candidates.
He noted that though the state is still facing some social and economic crises emanating from banditry, there are strong reasons to believe that the governments across all levels have done the best they could do to restore the confidence of the people, but God Almighty has not allowed the sad condition to end forthwith.
He added that, with Tinubu at the helm of affairs things would change within the shortest possible time.
He urged the APC supporters to continue to pray for God’s intervention as Matawalle and Tinubu remains the best option for Zamfara people.
