An accident claimed the lives of six family members including a father, his wife and four other children in Zamfara state.
The accident occurred at around 7:00am on Sunday when the father was driving alongside five other members toward their family house along the entrance of Zamfara state water board.
According to a police source, the accident occurred when a truck driver passing behind the victims blew a horn wanting them to allow him space to pass through an expressway but crashed back into the truck instantly causing them their definite death.
“The entire six family members including the father died instantly while their motorcycle crashed into pieces” a source added.
It was also gathered that the driver of the truck who became emotionally scared run into the bush due to the fear of mob attack by the residents.
The dead bodies of the victims were evacuated to the mortuary for funeral arrangements.
