Former Senator who represented Zamfara Central Kabiru Garba Marafa has donated the sum of one million naira to one of his supporters Sani Garba who was suspended by the management of Zamfara Radio and Television Services.
The donation was handed over to him by the Chairman of their faction Surajo Maikatako on behalf of the senator.
It could be recalled that the management of Zamfara Radio and Television Services led by Saidu Maishanu Gusau issued a letter of suspension to Sani Gusau over his alleged loyalty to Sen. Marafa and his continued libelous social media posts against Governor Matawalle.
In a remark during the handing over of the donation, Alh Surajo Maikatako said the Sen. decided to donate the money to Sani Garba for him to go and start a business, noting that the suspension was done with aim of humiliating him and his families.
He added that Sen. Marafa is always concern about the plight of his supporters and as such will always work toward making them happy.
In a vote of thanks, the beneficiary thanked the Sen. for the concern and assured him of his continued loyalty at all time.
“since the occurrence of the incident it was the distinguish senator that has been calling me to appeal with me to take the whole decision as an act of God and I have neither called him nor send him a text message when the suspension letter was issued to me, but he personally shows his concern by calling me severally” Sani added.
