Former Governor of Zamfara Sen. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has declared that the victory of the People’s Democratic Party in Zamfara as announced by the INEC is temporary.
Yari who stated this when he received the state government delegation who paid him a Sallah visit in his country home Mafara on Sunday insisted that APC is still the party to reckon with as per as Zamfara is concern.
He assured that with the discoveries ascertain by the APC and based on forensic analysis so far made, APC will surely regain its political status in Zamfara soonest.
He explained further that, what happened in Zamfara is a clear case of electoral robbery, hence PDP does not have the political strength to win a legitimate election in Zamfara.
“We have beginning to see the mess coming from the INEC documents where for instance, PDP is allocated over (2000) votes in a particular poling unit in Mafara noting that since 1999 he knew that the entire ward where the poling unit is located has never won up to (2000) votes, how manage PDP secured over (2000) votes in a single poling units under the ward.
While commending the APC supporters for their dedication to the course of the party’s victory, he encouraged them to sustain the momentum as the party leaders are working round the clock to challenge the electoral robbery demonstrated in Zamfara.
