The Chairman of Zamfara Circle, a non-governmental organization has raised alarm that, with the suspension of the recruitment exercise by the Management of Zamfara Hospital Service Management Board it is a clear indicator that the state political class are against steps that are geared toward the development of the state.
Tsafe wrote in his verified Facebook page that, “the suspension is the clearest testament that the elites in the state don’t want the state to develop and will sabotage any effort aimed at ensuring same in the state”.
“Dr Bashir Maru has done his part. He initiated one of the most credible and transparent recruitment processes ever in Zamfara. He sets the bar so high that most of the onlookers believed that the process would never be allowed to see the light of the day. Predictably, the process was suspended yesterday”.
He enjoined Dr Maru to “hold his head high and be proud of his accomplishments” noting that posterity will judge him kindly.
