THREE ROAD PROJECTS IN GUSAU TO COST ZMSG N44B.

Zamfara State Executive Council has approved the sum of N44 billion for the reconstruction of three major roads.

State Commissioner for Information Muhammad Mahmoud Dan Tawasa who stated this in a press statement said the project was awarded to Triacta Nigeria Limited

The breakdown of the road include dualization of Unguwar Gwaza Roundabout to Gusau Airport Road (10KM) at the cost of N24.8 billion with completion period of (10) months.

Others include dualization of Daza Road linking Kaura-Namoda and Gusau/Sokoto Federal Highways (4.6KM) at the cost of N11.8 billion with a completion of (18 months)

The state government also awarded rehabilitation of General Muhammadu Buhari Way (Tudun Wada), J.B. Yakubu Road (Canteen Area), Aminu Aliyu Road and Bebeji Road at the cost of N8.2 billion with a completion period (12 months)

“These landmark projects demonstrate Governor Lawal’s commitment to modernizing Gusau, enhancing urban mobility, and opening new economic opportunities for the people of Zamfara”.

“Dantawasa, described the projects as a clear testament to the Governor’s resolve to provide quality infrastructure that meets international standards”.

“This administration is committed to delivering roads that will not only ease traffic but also boost commerce, attract investors, and improve the living standards of our people. The people of Zamfara deserve the best, and under Governor Dauda Lawal, that is exactly what they are getting,” the Commissioner stated”.

“The Government assures the good people of Zamfara State that due process has been strictly followed, and work will commence immediately. The projects will be delivered within the stipulated timelines”.
