Police personnel were seen giving plastic water packs to protesters in a video that SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer, posted on X.com.
A report stated that demonstrators gathered at the Ikeja Underbridge in Lagos State on the eve of the nation’s 2024 Independence Day to express their disapproval of the hardships that Nigerians endure as a result of policies and initiatives implemented by the government.
