The leader of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA in Zamfara Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi has jointly broken his fast with a working journalist at his residence in Gusau on Wednesday.
Other people who joined the politician in the breakfast include members of the Interparty Advisory Council, APGA candidates in the 2019 general elections as well as various religious organizations.
The managing Editor of Thunder Blowers Multi media services Anas sani Anka who spoke on behalf of the journalists described Wamban Shinkafi as one of the best media friendly politician who has build cordial working relationship with media practitioners from within and outside the state.
He encouraged the politician to sustain the momentum and continue to relate well with journalists and other media outfits in the state.
The leader of the organized religious groups Malam Idris Yakubu expressed happiness with the level of support Sani Shinkafi has been rendering to various religious initiatives and urged him to sustain the momentum.
The Sardauna of Shinkafi Hon. Jubril Aliyu Guraguri and Medical Director of Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital Dr. Usman Shanawa commended the politician for his humanitarian help to the poor and less privileged ones in the state
The host Wamban Shinkafi thanked everyone for accepting the invitation for the Iftar and promised that he would continue to do more and sustain the working relationship with journalists and other critical stakeholders.
He said his initiative for the Iftar is just to compliment the teachings of Islam and to support the less privileged ones and prayed for God almighty to reward everyone abundantly.
He donated cartons and bags of assorted food items to various media organizations and members of NUJ correspondent chapel as part of his ramadan gesture.
