Zamfara State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning Abdulmalik Abubakar Gajam has refuted the allegations that there are some external cabals that influence the majority of the decisions by Governor Dauda Lawal.
Gajam, in an exclusive interview with Thunder Blowers, stated that there were no cabals besides them because he knew very well people like him and other prominent commissioners such as Garba Ahmad Yandi Wadatau Madawaki and the rest constitute a powerful team of cabals that dominated the government of Dauda Lawal.
He challenged anyone with evidence to prove what Governor Dauda intended to do and that the alleged cabals stopped him because of their influence, noting that such allegations are purely mischievous.
Gajam insisted that commissioners like him, his counterpart from local government, education, Secretary to the state government , as well as the Deputy Governor of Zamfara constitute powerful cabals within the government of Zamfara state.
He described as mischievous those trying to create the political hypothesis around this cabal syndrome, noting that , to the best of his knowledge, the majority of them appointees are fully in charge.
