We have joined millions of concerned Nigerians to mourn the murderous killings of our security forces in Thursday’s incidence along Tazane Gusau-Funtua highway.
As Media organization whose Managing Editor witnessed the encounter, feel sad with the manner these brave and patriotic Nigerians were wasted in trying to defend the sovereignty of the Nigerian nation.
The Managing Editor of this medium informed us that they were together with the police officer that were killed when the officials of the construction firm Sectraco came to seek for their intervention to reinforce the soldiers battling to save the foreign site engineer.
He said without resistance, these police officers moved gallantly to fight the war they never survived.
The soldiers had fought gallantly and do their very best to deal with the situation, but as nature has it some of their colleagues lost it.
It is natural in life; hence it is the peculiarity of their duty, and we pray for God almighty to grant them mercy.
We also pray for God almighty to grant their extended families the fortitude to bear the loss.
We looked in ward to see what the state and federal government will do to shower mercy and blessings to the families of these patriotic Nigerians for them to start live at fresh without their usual breadwinners.
Furthermore, we call on the Zamfara Police Command and indeed the military formation to establish a strong case for these brave officers so that the Federal and state government can support their families.
It is also an eye-opener for the authorities to deploy adequate measures to end the menace of this armed banditry.
It is really doing bad to the Nigerian corporate existence. The authorities are insisting they are doing their best to end banditry, but their best is not manifesting the desired result.
It is our prayers that governments at all levels will heed to the public cries and strengthen the security architecture of the Nigerian nation.
