A PDP Chieftain in Zamfara Mrs Aslam Aliyu had explained the reasons why she denied the Zamfara gubernatorial candidate Dauda Lawal access to Zamfara delegates during the 2022 PDP Presidential primaries in Abuja.
Aslam Aliyu who stated this during a press conference on Sunday insisted that if she had allowed Dauda Lawal access to the delegates he would have used them and collected a huge amount of money from the aspirants.
While accusing him of using PDP to earn money for personal gain, she said because her target was for Atiku the Waziri of Adamawa to win the election, she had to hide the delegates against all the pressure and make sure that the PDP gubernatorial candidate did not monetize their political rights and freedom.
She noted that her action of hiding the delegates was deliberately done to frustrate efforts by Dauda to use the delegates and get money at all cost.
“Atiku Abubakar the Waziri of Adamawa is my political party and I am in PDP because of Atiku Abubakar and anything that will cause his failure I will not be a party to it” Aslam added
