A PDP Chieftain in Zamfara Mrs. Aslam Aliyu has explained the reasons why Dauda Lawal the PDP gubernatorial candidate will lose the Governorship election on March 11th 2023.
Mrs Aslam who declared this during a press conference in Gusau on Sunday insisted that the political behavior of Dr. Dauda Lawal especially his alleged “tactical deceit” toward party supporters will remain the most fundamental basis of why he is losing the election.
“Whatever Dauda Lawal inform you don’t take him serious because it is not true, he is not sincere to the people, he always tell people what will please them even when he knew it was not true deep inside his mind,” Aslam stated.
She added that even while he is not given anything to the party supporters, what Atiku Abubakar provided to them especially internally displaced persons are usually diverted by the gubernatorial candidate Dauda Lawal.
She added that after Matawalle the Governor of Zamfara left the PDP the party was more united under Mahadi Aliyu, her self and Kabiru Yahaya Classique but noted that when Dauda Lawal came on board he destroyed the party and left it divided ever than before.
She warned Zamfara people to be careful and avoid giving their mandate to people like Dauda Lawal noting that, he has never been ready for Zamfara project.
“When he left the APC and wanted the PDP ticket, he came to my house and kneeled for me to secure him delegates and win the party primary election for governorship, and after he succeeded he abandoned myself and many others that assisted him, and instead he brought Abuja guys to take over the party”. Aslam lamented.
She added “when the court nullified the first governorship primaries same Dauda came back to us and begged for our help and when we remobilized the delegates for him, and he won the primaries for the second time, he also runaway from all of us that assisted him”.
“If you see Dauda calling you, he needs something or a help from you, but if not, since when he won the party primary election, he neither called nor returned calls from critical PDP stakeholders like us because he does not value anybody” Aslam added.
“I challenged Dauda Lawal to tell the world if he had ever assisted me for once but I believed he will never forget what I have done for him since when he joined the PDP”.
