A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in Zamfara Alh Abubakar S Pawa Dambo has accused the opposition All Progressive Congress APC of inviting other APC Governors to the closing rally of its campaign in a bid to disrupt the scheduled December 5th State Assembly bye election.
Alh Abubakar S Pawa who made the allegation in an exclusive media briefing with Thunder Bowers said Bakura bye election is for Zamfara and Bakura people in specific and that inviting Governors from other states to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the state would not be tolerated by Matawalle government.
He noted further that, if their claim of having popularity is real let them allow Bakura people to decide the faith of the election hence the election is for them not for the invited Governors.
He called on Bakura people to remain resolute and not to allow anybody to intimidate them hence election is conducted based on procedures and guidelines by the INEC and indeed the electoral act.
He added that with the socio-economic infrastructures Governor Matawalle provided for the people of Bakura added with the relative security restored, Bakura people would surely work harder to return PDP and its candidate in the December 5th scheduled election.
He added that, PDP is indeed not in support of any attempt to disrupt the relative peace enjoyed by the people of the state because of election hence the party is confident that, it will win the election with overwhelming majority.
