The Galadima ward executive committee of the All Progressive Congress, the (APC) in Zamfara State had announced the immediate suspension of the state party Chairman of the party, Mr. Tukur Umar Danfulani.
The decision to suspend the state APC Chairman of Zamfara followed a press conference organized by the executive members in Gusau.
The ward executives accused the suspended Chairman of promoting division within the party as well as causing political infractions in the party.
They also accused him of having repeated disregard for the constitution of APC, a behavior they insisted that has caused serious default to the progress of the party.
The report reaching this medium indicated that, fifteen out of twenty-seven executive members affixed their signatures to the suspension template, given them the comfort of having a 2/3 majority.
The ward executives cautioned the suspended Chairman from continually parading himself as the State Chairman of the APC in lieu of the decision.
They also called on the national executives of the party to hasten the appointment of the state APC caretaker Chairman in order to allow for a smooth transition of the leadership throne.
