The Zamfara State All Progressives Congress, APP Chairman, Hon. Lawal M. Liman (Gabdon Kaura) advised Muslims in the State to take extra measures while celebrating Eid-El Fidir amidst COVID 19 challenges, according to him observing the preventive measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic become necessary while partaking in any religious or social gathering.
In a sallah congratulatory message to the people of Zamfara State, Gabdon Kaura congratulated the entire Muslims across the globe and Zamfara in specific for successfully completing the Sacred Month of Ramadan and pray for accident and crime free Sallah celebration.
He emphasized on the utilization of the good lessons learned during the Month of Ramadan and hope it will remain a gateway for the society to get rid with all the security challenges bidevilling our progress as a state.
While calling on all and sundry to assist each others especially in a situation of this nature where a lockdown order is seriously affecting almost every sector of the economy, M. Liman commended the former Governor, Hon. (Dr.) Andul’aziz Yari Abubakar (Shatiman Zamfara) for having the people at heart by providing Ramadan and Sallah Welfare Packages to APC supporters which he described as a good gesture worthy of emulation.
“I believe the former Governor is a focused and compassionate leader who will never relent from his efforts to put smile on the faces of others Gabdo added”.
The Chairman thanks the party loyalists for their resilience, understanding and continued support to party leaders.
