Zamfara State AOC stakeholder have passed a commendation to the President to the government of Bola Ahmad Tinubu for allocating the sum of N10b for the procurement of buses and CNG uplift programme.
This is in addition to delivery of N50, 000 uplift grant each to 100,000 families per 36 states and FTC covering a period of (3) months.
These commendations were passed to the President through the statement signed by the Zamfara APC Publicity Secretary, Mal. Yusuf Idris Gusau at the end of their monthly stakeholders meeting held across the 14 local government areas of the state.
They also hailed the effort of the Tinubu administration for the release of N155b meant for the purchase of assorted grains to be distributed to the poor people and vulnerable groups across the states of Nigeria.
According to Mal. Idris the old idea of the APC members meeting to discuss issues affecting the party was revived to ensure the unity of its members.
He explained that the meeting was held across the fourteen local government areas of the state and critical stakeholders from the party were all invited.
He added that the state party Chairman Mr. Tukur Umar Dan Fulani chaired the meeting with all critical stakeholders from the local government in attendance.
He further said the central issues in the meeting were how to unite the party members and create the easiest way to resolve grievances of the party members with initially threatened the unity of the party.
Mal. Idris also stated that the meeting was conveyed to review the impact of the various interventions made by the Minister of state defense Bello Muhammed Matawalle and indeed Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
The issue of insecurity ravaging the state was also brought to the front burner of the meeting and the efforts put in place by President Bola Tinubu to address the crisis were also commended.
