Chairman of Zamfara State Board of Internal Revenue Service Ali Akilu Dama Bungudu has raised concern with the manners in which some revenue generating MDA’s are refusing to remit revenue collected in the consolidated revenue account.
The Chairman who raised concern on the development when he appeared before the state house of assembly committee on finance and appropriation called on the state legislatures to intervene considering the challenges the state is facing.
He assured that the board will work harder to facilitate rapid socio-economic development of the state.
On the internal budget of the board, Dama said he would utilize the money appropriated in ensuring that things have moved rapidly in the board.
The members of the committee on finance and appropriation assured the board that it would do everything to assist its operation.
